Fantastic place to visit with a good range of animals and nice play park. Food is really good as well as it is connected to the pub next door. It is also great value for money. We got in for just £2.50
We visited while on holiday, we all really enjoyed it, the animals all looked loved & well looked after. The staff were all very friendly & helpful. We ate at the restaurant which was reasonably priced & the food was really lovely & well cooked! It was very clean considering people come straight out of the zoo area into it!!
We had a ride around in a truck which my kids thought was fun & it was included in the entry fee. There was a Halloween decorated tunnel to go through which was well done.
I don't know how they run on the £5 per person entry fee, they do take donations but its not advertised enough & they really do deserve the donations.
I've watched this little zoo and conservation project being developed over the years. It's really good for children (and schools ) to visit, and entry prices are very reasonable.
A huge amount of hard work has been put into the project. Highlights include the macaws and grey parrots, and the meerkats (great fun!). Additions since my last visit are a flock of flamingos and otters. There are some medium-sized cats, too (it's too small for lions and tigers!). The two original residents (pigs) are still there.
There is a new eating area with the same food and drinks available as in the Fenn Bell's restaurant.
What a great day out.
The little zoo was lovely and my daughter enjoyed her zoo experience.
The staff was very helpful in the zoo and restaurant.
Also the was fantastic to.
£5 each entry, really good selection of animals. It’s not a full on zoo but it’s a lovely place to spend a couple of hours. Selection of food and drink available but also loads of picnic benches to bring your own food
I have been to this place a few times and our family have always enjoyed it. This was the 1st time I had been to the Christmas meet Santa. I was pleasantly surprised to find they all put a lot of time and effort into this. Our family definitely enjoyed it thanks all involved
What a great experience...will be going back next year ...the truck ride to see santa 🎅 the attractions before we got there...the lovely present 🎁 from santa and mrs claus 🤶 🧑🎄 then a play in the park and a walk round the zoo... then after she wanted icecream which we had in the fenn bell was enjoyed by all
Lovely little Zoo with some unusual animals in there. Walk ways were clean and well maintained. The only thing I did think was that some of the cages for the animals it was quite hard to spot them, but I guess that is better for the animals. All in all a good day.
